This Fantail on Pohutukawa Circle is proudly NZ Made, and available in two sizes.
It's quite something to find something like this that is made in New Zealand, and made well. There are lots of cheap steel or iron imports, but they don't last.
This artwork is made from ACM, Aluminium Composite Material. It is a fantastic material that is lightweight, and won't warp or rust. It stands up to salt air really well too. Perfect anywhere outside, including at beach homes.
And it celebrates New Zealand wildlife. The fantail sits on a beautiful arrangement of pohutukawa flowers.
For those who don't know the fantail or pohutukawa, the native fantail bird flits around our native forests and home gardens, catching insects on the fly. The pohutukawa is our native Christmas tree, covered in beautiful crimson flowers from November through to January.
The artwork is available in 2 sizes:
- Small - approx 396mm x 378mm (15 1/2" x 14 7/8")
- Large - approx 591mm x 590mm (23 1/4" x 23 1/4")
And available in 3 colourways.
There are screwholes for attaching it to a wall, or you could use adhesive or Command type strips.
